Student Concerns Support Program

Going to college is an exciting time, but it can also be a stressful time. Homesickness, relationship issues, and job and school demands can take a toll on even the most well-adapted student. For those with existing mental health issues, this strain can be staggering.
And after recent tragic events at schools around the country, safety is also an increasing concern.

Employee assistance programs have been implemented in workplaces for more than 30 years, and have been proven to be an effective first line of defense in helping workers deal with stress, depression and personal issues.
Through our Student Concerns Support Program, Health Resources applies the same principles used in workplace EAP programs at the higher-education level to address issues such as depression, burnout, stress, family issues, and drug or alcohol problems.
By partnering with campus resources such as Safety and Security, Student Health Services and Student Life departments, Health Resources' trained counselors are available 24/7 to help separate and mitigate problems before they lead to the extreme behavior that has worried us all.
